My religious beliefs are somewhere between "spiritual but not religious" and agnostic.

I've been divorced for over four years and get along well with my ex and her husband. I try to reduce baggage and stress in my life wherever I can. My children spend alternate weekends with me and I see them regularly between those weekends.

I'm usually very laid back, but will protect family and friends with my life.

Honesty is important to me. I can usually tell when someone is lying to me. It's a convenient talent, but not often pleasant. As such, I much prefer tactful bad news to a white lie.

I much prefer to laugh than be serious, so I'm only serious when I need to be.

I love being outdoors...I'm usually outside whenever the weather's nice. I exercise regularly, so I'm fairly fit. I love live music...there used to be a club in Cary that had a live band every Friday night (until it was sold, and the venue changed). I am from NC but currently attend college in Wisconsin where I'm majoring in Broadcast Communications. Although it has certainly been an adventure moving away from home to a school where I knew absolutely no one, I'm definitely ready to move south again after graduation. Eventually I would love to work as an announcer or color analyst for ESPN, but realize that it is going to take a lot of work to get there. I'm moving back to Apex in the next two weeks after living in Franklin, Virginia for a few months after graduating. I'm originally from Massachusetts where I was born, raised, and educated but after college I've lived in Virginia (DC area), New York (Long Island), and most recently (and for the foreseeable future) North Carolina. I've seen a good deal of the country and world from both business & personal trips but am happy to now call the Raleigh area my home.

Ever since I was first exposed to computer in Kindergarten (1986) I've been hooked on them and as a result I've built my life around them. I went to school for computers, have a job utilizing those skills, and derive entertainment from them as well.

This part is a little awkward for me. It's difficult to describe oneself in a few short words or sentences. I prefer to meet people and allow them make their own judgments. A few words my friends might use to describe me are: smart, funny, dependable, kind, easygoing, sarcastic, humble, attractive.

My little girls' hugs, a late fall sunrise in the woods, a kiss to that spot on my neck, the smell of blackpowder in October... these are a few of my favorite things.

THINGS I LIKE: My two little girls - I love to hear their voices, see their smiles, and kiss them to bed. Quality time with a muzzle-loader or lever rifle during deer season brings a smile (or any other time of the year, for that matter). In the fall I hunt, in the spring I fish (not all that much, this spring).

Bicycling is great fun, and good for me - and I can do it often. I ride an old Trek 930. A bike ride is a fine way to meet - do you have one? Onroad, or off - but if you're a hard-core road rider with a high-dollar carbon fiber bike, please be gentle. Took a ride recently with my 5 y/o Saturday - her first with Daddy. Still in training wheels, but that'll change soon enough.

My favorite places in fall are... somewhere near white oaks & cover, as that is where the deer are. Roadtrips to the beach - or a day trip anywhere with a friend (or You) is worthwhile. Where friends gather, is where I want to be. And if the Right One is reading this... I'll want to be where you are.

I go to church - well, no, I don't, not lately. Or not much. I've got some issues there. But I'd like to get past them, as I still believe the Nicene Creed. I used to know everything, but not anymore. I used to know a guy named Jack Schitt, but lately, I don't know Jack anymore (gee, I may re-write this part...)

What am I looking for, why am I here? I want... companionship. I want to connect with you, assuming you're here somewhere. I want YOU to conspire with, plan with, scheme with... someone to accompany me on the rest of these days through life. Passion met.

Apparently I don't much enjoy writing self-summaries. I very much enjoy board games, theater, social ballroom dancing, swimming, and soapy but well-produced television.

I am not your average 22 year old girl. I play hard and have no worries about gettin down and dirty with the boys. I dont drink, I am a bartender though, and in no way opposed to people drinking. I'm smart and always down for a good conversation. I dont put out on the first date, sorry guys. I am huge into kissing and its even better when theres no worrying about it having to lead to sex. I'd own tigers if I could, but since I don't have access to 90 pounds of fresh kill every day I have two nearly as radical housecats. I'm still new at the online thing and describing myself in these things, but here it goes: I'm originally from New York and have lived in NC 3 years and love it here. I'm pretty down to earth, i think. I try to eat well and work out and like to look good, but I'm not overly made up- I can roll out of bed and go to the store. I work as a scientist and some of my taste may be somewhat geeky. I like the outdoors, animals, running, cooking and traveling. I'm always willing to try something new (as long as it's not too dangerous or illegal:)

Well lets see, I'm a single gentle giant of a man, who is 6'5 and 280 pounds, but I have the personality of a big ole teddy bear. I'm very easy going by nature and easier to get along with. I'm completely independent, with no baggage (Unless it fits in the over head compartment) I have a pretty good sense of humer, and I can be a real prankster at times! I'm a romantic at heart, and I little old fashion when it comes to relationships. And I'm a little bit of a hippie at heart who yes, still drives his 67 Vw camper Bus with grateful dead slickers on the back.
I love the outdoors, Camping out, Spending time working out in the yard Going for long hikes with my two dogs, or anything else that gets me outside.....
I believe that ALL people should be treated with respect. And I can't stand self centered people who only care about #1.
And I'd like to meet a woman who likes the be treated like a lady. Someone who would like to share in a long term relationship.....once we get to know other of course!. I am originally from Ohio and a graduate of BGSU. Of the past 15+ years (late 1994 to present), 11 have been spent in the Tarheel and have been bouncing around the USA, Ohio or South Korea for the other four.

I've done alot of things for fun (and some crazy sh!t in general): static line parachuting in the Army (job function); skydived (was a goal, but also did it to try to win a girls heart); scuba dived; hiked and mountain biked the mountains of S. Korea and visited the Buddhist Monks; explored Oahu (long before LOST ever showed up -- North Shore and eastern sides of the island rock!); hung out on Waikiki; took surfing lessons down in Wilmington; rappelled off of trail trestles (little to much liquid courage that day); taken in alot of concerts; and participated in a 10,000 person, mutli-day walking festival near Seogwipo on Cheju-Do Island as 1 of only 6 Americans present; and almost visited China (Bejing and the Great Wall but North and South Korea got into a pissing match and lobbed projectiles at one anothers ships in the Yellow Sea, thus causing a cancellation of my trip... bastards!) This should give you a snapshot of me =)

I enjoy watching most sports, tailgating and rooting for the following teams: Ohio State Buckeyes, Green Bay Packers, Detroit Tigers, Hurricanes for hockey and love going to watch the Durham Bulls play ball in the summer. I have not yet chosen a local college team, anyone want to help influence my decision making?

Basically, I'm pretty down to earth, like to laugh, and enjoy trying new things. I'm very up-front, so if you can't handle me being direct... you can skip ahead to the next chick. I don't like games. Kids play games, and I'm a grown woman.

I love making people laugh! But I have a serious side too. I say what I mean, and mean what I say. I want somebody that I can have fun, relax, and most importantly laugh with. I'm pretty sarcastic and want to be able to banter back and forth. Though, I need to work on that, because sarcasm is just the intelligent's way of insulting the dumb.

I love making people happy and can be a total ego boost for whoever I'm around. I want somebody like me who's mature enough when they need to be, but also knows how to goof off. I don't like fake people, because I'm one of the most honest people you'll ever meet. And did I mention I'm an awesome flirt?

What else? I'm kind of all over the place when it comes to style. It really just depends on my mood. I can be real girly in a dress and heels, or just casual, sporty, boyish in some boxers and baggy pants. I enjoy dancing to hip-hop, but can break it down to anything... even Zydeco. I can rock out at concerts, hop on a skateboard, be a snow bunny... I love snowboarding... though I haven't been in a while :( and I love sports. Yes... I said it.. I love sports. I have a fantasy football team, I love baseball games, starting to like soccer, I'm addicted to hockey, and don't even get me started trash talking my teams! I actually work in broadcasting for NC State football and basketball games, and Carolina Hurricanes hockey games. It's the best deal to get paid to watch a game I'd watch anyways. haha I also just played golf for the first time... had a lot more fun than I expected!

I'm an open book, so feel free to ask me just about anything. I don't tend to hold back in things that I do. It's balls to the wall if you know what I mean. No regrets, it's all a learning experience for me!

I'd really rather not bore you with generic info so here's the basics. I'm in NC because it's close to family, I'm a city girl at heart, I love to travel, read, relax, and go out with friends. I have a job I love. I'm opinionated, love to debate, but I'm also fine if I don't agree with someone...anything else, just ask!

I've lived in North Carolina for over 16 years, having moved from NYC to find a better life. You probably won't find me at a bar, but I do like going out and having a good time with friends, where ever that may be. I enjoy museums and am always up for learning something new. I'm also an avid reader and usually have two books going at the same time.

I don't consider myself a particularly outgoing person although I can be when with the right people; at work, I'm the office clown. I'm not into sports but don't mind if you are. Having recently turned 40, I've reached the point of my life where I feel I've succeeded professionally and financially. I'm now looking for comfort, stability, and security. I don't meet many women in my line of work and unfortunately, I don't have the personality to meet people in bars and the like. I'm not the kind of person who easily strikes up conversations with strangers. Once I get to know you, though, I can talk all night.

I'm not like them. I've got more going on in my head than you can shake a stick at and I'm looking for something more than a casual fling.

Ok, it's not that bad!!! But I am super quirky and lots of fun. I know everything that will never get me anywhere in life. I love useless trivia. I go for drives when I'm bored. I'm like the family german shepard, I shed uncontrollably and I love to be taken for a car ride. Road trips are my favorite!
I don't sit still well. I am clumsy and accident prone. I'm probably one of the few people who can say they have suffered 2, not 1, treadmill accidents.

I'm a single father of 4 year old boy, I'm a Christian, and I have a good job in IT. I'm definitely a technology geek, a video game nerd, and when it's warm outside I enjoy riding my motorcycle. I've also recently taken an interest photography. I love intelligent conversation, but I can be a dork if the mood strikes. I'm more of a mountain person than a beach person and I do enjoy the outdoors. I will not be sexually intimate until marriage, but I am very much into physical affection.
I'm more of a listener than a talker and I can find something to laugh about every day. I also see the best in people around me, rather than the worst. I'm also somewhat of a neat freak.
